November 1, 2005 - DC playground building service project pictures Last Saturday, a bunch of us, through a ministry at McLean Bible Church called Daybreak, went down to southeast DC to help build a really cool playground for kids without one. It was a great time of fellowship and it was tons of fun to see the progress we made after only a couple hours. When we got there, there was just a bunch of rocks and mud where a full-fledge playground now exists, rockwall included! Here are a couple pics I took. Sorry for the small size...but I'm too lazy to create thumbs.
Slowly making progress
I didn't envy the guy digging the holes for the benches
