I think this summarizes the essence of what a BMW is. These
comments may have been made of a 2006 Bimmer, most of which I'm not too fond of, mostly looks-wise, but
the core of what makes a BMW great is still there; being the ultimate driving machine.
I love how he mentions the BMW's are made for the "one day",
that "dream" that you'll actually be on a challenging road course with no one around and the leaves are
falling just like in all the car commercials. That is the day I live for. One day experiencing that, to
me is worth sacrificing the best luxuries, sat navs, and warranties for a thousand days. To not have
"the ultimate driving machine" at that moment, when the worlds align and the conditions are perfect, would
be the most tragic scene ever. That's why I love them and that's why I have what I consider one of the
best Bimmers Munich has ever designed and built. Its purpose for existence is not to be a daily driver,
a hassle-free car, or a comfortable drive. Its quintessence is to give you the ultimate
