March 30, 2006 - A few reasons why it would be nice to have a wife Just the other day, I was in work and realized that the pants I was wearing not only were wrinkled and dirty, but they had fresh weird stains on both pant legs. A wife would bring these mishaps to my attention before I dress myself. I seem to eat Ramen noodle and…Ramen noodle almost exclusively. It's not that I don't have the money, it's just I don't have the fortitude nor know-how to feed myself much better then Taco Bell. A wife would hopefully be motivated to feed me properly, much like a baby needs to be fed properly. If she's not the most accomplished cook, I'm sure she would be able to tell me what food I should be eating. As a single, I really have no verbal accountability. Most, not all, single guys in their 20's and later, talk a pretty hot game - and if they don't talk game, we usually act like we know what we're talking about in most situations. A wife would put me in my humble place. Instead of always acting like I know what I'm talking about, my wife would call me out in a hopefully loving way. I seem to have a lot of difficultly waking up when the alarm sounds. Hitting the snooze button 5-6 times before I actually get up is not uncommon; ergo, being late to work is not uncommon. A wife, by the mere fact that she is laying right next to me and because she cares about my welfare and professional career, would lovingly make sure I get out of bed when I need to. |
