» Random Thoughts Current Archive [an error occurred while processing this directive]		June 23, 2007- Surfers, Paparazzi Clash On SoCal Beach       Oh now this is real entertainment news!  It's like straight out of Point Break…but it's even better!  Instead of a "lawyer who surfs" getting pounded by the locals, it's a bunch of dorky, overweight privacy invaders cameramen who peddle their unsolicited pictures for a few bucks to fuel America's, and the world's, obsession with Hollywood celebrities.  You gotta watch the videos…they're hilarious.  The only disappointment is not seeing action hero/chick flick guy turned wannabe surfer (who knows, maybe he's good) Matthew McConaughey pop a few guts himself.  I could've sworn I saw Anthony Kiedis in the crowd though throwing a few punches.
