(While driving home on the interstate from Park City, Utah one night,
and getting slightly lost along the way)
I came around a bend in the canyon and saw ahead of me on the tip of
the mountain an illuminated cross. It was possibly one of the most fantastic things I've ever seen while out here
in Utah, understandably so. That image
has stayed in my mind since I saw it. It makes me ponder God's glory. In a state that is yearning for truth, and
desiring power and honor, God is still there and watching over them. He reigns over all, and is all powerful.
The cross was set on that hill to keep a watch on His people. It is there to remind people like me that no matter
what happens in life, whatever life throws at us, He's there. His grace provides for all and saves all who submit
to his name. Matthew 5:14-16 definitely presents itself in this picture. The cross (of Christ)
shines forth and gives light
to all those around. I was lost and a bit frustrated at myself, but still God used that to teach me about Him.
God's amazing, and I pray that He can come into me so I can spread His glory to all those around me and they can
see His love and grace! Praise Jesus and rock out to His Word!
