I Want to Live the Simple Life I wanna run in fields walk aimlessly on beaches talk randomly on benches and run fingers through hair. I wanna play video games drive my car climb trees and swim in the ocean. I wanna eat ice cream on warm summer nights watch movies and play guitar. I don’t want this mind that worries about things that thinks about things that dreads about things. I don’t want eternity on it i don’t want reality on it. It causes me not to sleep it causes me not to eat it causes me to cry inside it causes me to die inside. I wanna live the simple life not worrying not realizing not traumatized I wanna settle down not live on the run like I have, from my fears I want ignorance. I want it to be simple I want the blue pill I regret taking the red can I not have both? |
